Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal starrer Spider-Man: Far From Home is inches away from earning $700 million at the global box-office. Fans are loving the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film, which is regarded as the "epilogue" to Avengers: Endgame.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is a summer blockbuster, in every way. The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film, which is regarded as an "epilogue" to Avengers: Endgame looks into the life of Peter Parker, post the events of Endgame. Peter is trying to move on from the death of his mentor Tony Stark aka Iron Man but is unable to do so because everywhere he looks, Tony is present. He also tries to step aside from being Spider-Man but because of The Elementals, he has to team up with Quentin Beck aka Mysterio to save the world.
When it comes to the North America numbers, Spider-Man: Far From Home earned $15.13 million on Day 8, bringing the total collection to $211.07 million. The Tom Holland starrer was made at a budget of $161 million and has accumulated $659 million worldwide, according to Forbes. If things continue the way it has, so far, Spider-Man: Far From Home will soon pass the $700 million mark. Subsequently, it will soon surpass the lifetime collections of Amazing Spider-Man ($758 million) and Amazing Spider-Man 2 ($709 million).
