Stree Box Office Collection Day 2: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer shows a strong jump

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror comedy Stree released on Friday. The film is helmed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Horror comedy is not explored much in the Hindi film industry and hence, Stree is something fresh and new to the audience. Set in a town of Chanderi, it is about a story of Stree, a witch, who abducts men during the four nights of puja. The film promises good punches and is high on the humour content. It is equally terrifying because of the horror and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Stree also stars the talented Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee. They play vital roles and their performances will leave you in splits. Because of a unique concept, humour, horror and the wonderful execution, Stree managed to win hearts and has mostly received positive reviews. On the first day, this Rajkummar-Shraddha starrer had an opening of around 25% and managed to collect Rs 6.82 crore at the box office. As shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his Twitter page, the film made a collection of Rs 10.87 crores on its second day. Thus, the total collection is now Rs 17.69 crore at the box office.

Stree is expected to make it big on Sunday and collect around Rs 30 crore at the box office. Also, Monday, as it's the Dahi Handi festival, the film has a good chance of getting the HIT status.
