Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are currently riding high on the success of their latest outing Stree, which is of the horror comedy genre. The movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. It chronicles around a 'ridiculous phenomenon' about a supernatural spirit 'Stree' who hunts men at night and lures them with her seductive stance. All the while leaving only their clothes behind. Fans have been raving about all their performances and the box office numbers speak for themselves.

Stree has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office. The total collections now stand at Rs 54 crore nett (Friday - Rs 6.65 crore, Saturday - Rs 10.50 crore, Sunday - Rs 14.25 crore, Monday - Rs 9.50 crore, Tuesday - Rs 6.25 crore, Wednesday - Rs 6.50 crore). Rajkummar shared, "I expected to be a part of the good film. But you know that's the fun part of being in this industry, one doesn't know what happens on a Friday. I was very sure that we are making a good film. I knew that people would like it, there will be a strong word of mouth but the way people are reacting, it's huge, it is overwhelming."
