Sui Dhaaga Box Office Collection: Varun Dhawan's 11th HIT Film inches closer to Rs 50 crore

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma's film Sui Dhaaga, which release on Friday is inching close to Rs 50 crore. This is Varun's 11th hit in a row.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made in India released on Friday last week. In the film, Varun and Anushka are seen as husband and wife named Mauji and Mamta. Mauji and Mamta start their own tailoring business after the latter sees how her husband is ill-treated by their bosses. Sui Dhaaga is about self-reliance, it shows how common man can make their dream come true if they show true dedication and determination towards their work. Sui Dhaaga opened to good reviews. Varun and Anushka's simplicity and the story of love and hard work impressed the critics as well as the audience.

In terms of box office collection too, the film is doing very well. Sui Dhaaga enjoyed a good weekend and the trade analysts had predicted that it will surely be a hit. And well, the film has passed the litmus test and its Monday collection was Rs 7 crore approx. Thus, the total collection of the film is now Rs 43.60 crore. Considering that it's a national holiday today, this Varushka starrer might touch 50 crore mark at the box office.

With Sui Dhaaga, Varun Dhawan again proved why he is the most bankable actor in the industry. This is his 11th hit in a row. Sui Dhaaga: Made in India is Varun's second release this year. His film October released in April and even that film was critically acclaimed and was loved by the audience.

From Student Of The Year till now, Varun is only giving hits. Be it a desi lover Humpty in Humpy Sharma Ki Dulhania, a flirt in Main Tera Hero, an angry man seeking avenge for his wife's murder in Badlapur or a dancer in ABCD 1, the audience enjoyed watching him in every new role.

His upcoming projects are also very promising. He will be seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank, Shashank Khaitan's Rannbhoomi and a 4-D dance film with Remo D'Souza. There are reports that he will be working with his dad David Dhawan on a new project.
