Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 1: Hrithik Roshan & Mrunal Thakur starrer kickstarts on a decent note
Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur’s film, Super 30 released this Friday. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the film is based on the life of mathematician, Anand Kumar from Bihar. Read below to know the amount it collected at the box office on day 1.
A film that had been making headlines over the past few weeks is Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur starrer Super 30. The film is based on a real-life mathematician, Anand Kumar from Bihar. In the film, Hrithik steps into the shoes of Anand Kumar and Mrunal plays his wife on screen. Super 30 traces the journey of one man against the education system that creates discrimination against the poor who are capable of getting into top colleges. The initial reviews of the film have been good and it has kickstarted on a good note.
Coming to the first-day business, the occupancy report was out yesterday and the film did manage to get audiences to the theatres. The exact box office collection figures are out today and on day 1, Super 30 has managed to get a decent start. Hrithik and Mrunal starrer managed to earn Rs 11 Crore nett on day 1 at the box office. The numbers were slightly higher in metro cities like Mumbai and South circuits. Also, the film’s opening day business was more than Hrithik’s previous films like Kaabil and Mohenjo Daro.

Though Super 30 is a film based on a Bihari man, but Hrithik Roshan starrer hasn’t managed to pull people to the theatres in cities like UP, Bihar and Rajasthan. It will be interesting to see how Super 30 fares on Saturday. The film is off to a decent start ibn metros and south states and if all goes well, the film might reap the benefits over the weekend. Also, it is the 7th or 8th largest opening of the year. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Singh and Aditya Srivastava in important roles.
