Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 released two weeks ago. The film received mixed reactions from the audience. Hrithik's performance in the film has been highly appreciated. The film also features Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava and Nandish Sandhu. It is based on the life of mathematician and global influencer Anand Kumar from Bihar and Hrithik Roshan plays his role in the film.
Super 30 did good business in the second week with Rs 37.25 crore nett approximately and the film is expected to become a HIT unless the third Friday goes below Rs 1 crore nett which is very unlikely. The total collections of the film so far are over Rs 112.50 crore nett. The drop in the second week is of 50% which is good and the film has a chance to bring down the number of Gully Boy which is a film in the same zone.
Super 30 is surely facing tough competition from Disney's live action film The Lion King, but the target audience is different so it should not be a problem. The film has to maintain a balance of good business for just one more day to ensure HIT status. To gain a chance of becoming a hit film, Super 30 must do better on its second Friday.
