There is no stopping for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War which is enjoying a dream run at the box office. After opening to rave reviews from the audience and shattering several box office records, the action entertainer managed to enter the coveted Rs. 100 crore club within three days of release.
Continuing its dream run, this Siddharth Anand directorial is still setting the box office on fire and refuses to slow down anytime soon. In fact, the holy occasion of Ram Navami on October 7 turned lucky for War which recorded the highest Monday collections of the year. With an earning of Rs. 20.50 crore nett, War has dethroned Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh to grab the first spot.
And now it is inching closer to the prestigious Rs. 200 crore club. The impeccable business maintained by the Hrithik and Tiger starrer has taken its overall collection to Rs.179 crore nett.
To note, War has not just emerged as the highest opener of the year but has also become the highest grosser for both Tiger and Hrithik. It has surpassed the lifetime collection of Hrithik’s highest earner so far Krrish 3 which made an earning of Rs 175 crore. On the other hand, it has also crushed Tiger’s highest grosser Baaghi 2 which minted Rs. 160 crore in its lifetime.
With Tuesday being another holiday, it is expected that War will cross the Rs. 200 crore before completing a week of its release. We wonder which other box records will be crushed by War.
