Sonam Kapoor’s phone has been ringing incessantly since the release of her recent outing – the Rajshri blockbuster -Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, with Salman Khan. “Every morning since the release I am waking up to messages and calls. There is so much stuff on my phone, it is really crazy. My phone has not stopped ringing. I saw the film on the 12th and after that I have been in shock, so many calls, so many messages, so many reactions...I don’t understand numbers. Everybody has been saying that the film is a blockbuster, it is the biggest hit, the fastest hundred...and I’m like – ‘What does that mean?’ All I can see is that my social media is going mental. I expected this kind of reaction for the film but not for me. I guess it is also that everybody went to see the film because there is Salman Khan in it and then obviously they also saw me and have been calling me (laughs). But, people loved Salman and me together. It is so shocking and scary,” says an excited Sonam while relaxing in her vanity van. The pretty actress, in the past, has given smash hits like Raanjhanaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. So PRDP becomes her third film that has entered the Rs 100 crore club.

Not many know that Sonam usually packs her bags and leaves the country on the eve of her film’s release, but this time things were a bit different. “I was supposed to leave around the release of PRDP, too, but nobody realised that the numbers will be so great, I was stopped from leaving,” says Sonam, further adding, “It isn’t about any superstition, or that I’m nervous, I just leave the country thinking, ‘Ab toh ho gaya’...” Sonam continues, “But I am leaving tonight for sure. I am going to Dubai with my sister Rhea for a three-day holiday. I want to take some time off. We will just chill, stay in a spa, go for spa...”

However, Sonam doesn’t believe in partying. “People have been telling me that I should celebrate, but I don’t work like that. I just feel I don’t need to throw a party. At present, there is a party in my head and I am very happy with that party. I want to enjoy myself, and if I throw a party, I won’t get to enjoy. Am good, am happy. Am also blank but the happiest,” signs off Sonam and leaves to meet her co-star Salman, who, she hasn't met since the film hit the theatres four days back.
