EXCLUSIVE: Akshay's Reaction on Wife Twinkle's Compliment is Hilarious!
As soon as Airlift released, everybody started appreciating Akshay Kumar's work in the film, including his wife Twinkle Khanna. She got on to twitter and posted a sweet message for her darling husband.
"Son saw #Airlift & said'Mom you always nag dad-he works too much -after seeing this-isn't it worth it?'One of MrK's finest films @RajaMenon," posted Twinkle.
When we caught up with Akshay Kumar, we asked him if he agrees to Twinkle's tweet on Airlift being his best performance. To our surprise, Kumar had the most hilarious reply.
He quipped, "If your wife says then you have to agree."
While we controlled our laughter, on a serious note, Akshay added, "I feel happy about it and have tried my best in many films. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I haven't worked so hard in this film as compared to the praises I am getting. I worked a lot more in Brothers but didn't get that much praise. Destiny is like that. So this industry is a very dicey place."
His co-star Nimrat asserts, "That is the magic of movie making. The way the movie culminates you will only know with the reaction of the audience. No one can guess how the film will bloom or wither away."
We agree to that!
