EXCLUSIVE: Post Marriage Registration, Urmila-Mohsin to Have a Nikah!
Urmila Matondkar became the talk of the town yesterday as she secretly tied the knot with her Kashimiri Businessman boyfriend Mohsin Akhtar Mir at her Bandra resident.
The wedding was a private affair with only the family members and close friends of the couple attending it. Designer Manish Malhotra and Urmila's best friend Paulomi Sanghvi made sure they were there by the lovely bride on her big day.
Reveals Paulomi, "It was a very special moment. We had loads of fun. Mehendi was held on Wednesday and the wedding was an early morning affair on Thursday. After the Mehendi and yesterday after the Hindu wedding, we were dancing. We let our hair down and grooved all night. Manish and my legs have gone, we danced so much. Both Urmila and Mohsin danced to all of her hit songs including Kambakht Ishq, Tanha Tanha and the Rangeela songs. It is a must. Without that the celebration would have been incomplete."
Probe her on when did the preparations start for the wedding and she says, "Urmila and I discussed it 2 weeks back and then started planning things. 10 days have been super hectic. All the details had to be taken care of. The wedding was in her lovely Bandra flat. But it was so much fun."
She adds, "So as per the Hindu traditions the marriage is done, now they will have a registered marriage first, followed by the Nikah. That will happen soon. You guys will get to know. She is also planning to host a reception for her friends in the industry. It is another week long celebration."
