I Think it's a Great Idea - Akshaye Khanna on Alia's Idea to Make a Girls Version of Dil Chahta Hai
Recently, during a media interaction, Alia Bhatt had expressed her interest in doing a girls version of Dil Chahta Hai. The film was a huge hit when it released back in 2001 with Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna in the lead.
Alia suggested that she would want a girls'version of the movie with Parineeti Chopra and Shraddha Kapoor her partners in crime.
When we met Akshaye Khanna during Dishoom, we quizzed him about it and his reply made us smile.
"Yes, why not? I think its a great idea. But I really like Alia as an actress. She is really really good. I saw her in Highway and she was amazing in it. And she is a wonderful talent," exclaimed Akshaye.
