EXCLUSIVE: Here's why Deepika and Ranveer gave Manish Malhotra's party a miss!
If there is one party that got the entire Bollywood together, then it surely is Manish Malhotra's birthday bash held last night at a plush hotel. A host of celebrities attended the grand celebration including the likes of Ambanis, Bachchans, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra among many others.
However, it was Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's absence that made many sit up and take notice. While speculations were rife that Deepika skipped the bash due to Katrina Kaif's presence, nothing seemed to be official.
But when we dug deep, we found out that it wasn't Ms Kaif's presence that made Dippy miss the party. Instead, a little birdie informs us that she had to let go off the soiree because she was tied up with the night shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is neck deep busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Befikre that releases this week. Ranveer was in Delhi last night for the same and hence had to skip the designer's birthday bash.
Well, now it's valid for them to miss Manish's celebration. However, we would have loved seeing the two making some hand-in-hand entries!
