Director Rajkumar Hirani has finally roped in actress Manisha Koirala to play the role of Nargis Dutt in Sanjay Dutt's biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza.
A comeback for the ages!
90's actress Manisha Koirala will be playing the role of the iconic actress and Sanjay Dutt's mother Nargis in the actor's biopic.
Manisha, best known for her roles in films like Dil Se and Bombay, is finally making her much awaited comeback. She had taken a hiatus from films after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer a while back.
Though the actress had been away from the spotlight for quite sometime now, she recently has been making quite a few appearences.
Ranbir Kapoor will be portraying Sanjay's role in the movie which will be helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza are also a part of the much-talked about film and Ranbir has already started shooting for the movie. He's working out to play Sanjay's character to perfection.
Manisha and Sanjay have starred opposite each other in movies like Mehbooba and Khauff and hence it will be interesting to see the actress play Sanjay's mom in the biopic.
