Ever since it was announced that a behemoth collaboration of two Bollywood superstars namely Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan was happening in Thugs of Hindostan, fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of the movie.

Aamir had taken to Twitter to announce his excitement for working with Big B. He said, "Finally the moment I have been waiting for has come... To work with my icon, Mr. Bachchan! Thanks, Adi, Victor, for Thugs of Hindostan. I'm too thrilled to be working with the actor I have admired all my life."

While we know who the two main actors are, rumours have been rife since the announcement of the movie, as to who will be the leading lady for the movie.

Names like Vaani Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Alia Bhatt have popped up over the past few month. However, Yash Raj Films who are producing the movie have refuted all these rumours. YRF's official spokesperson said, "No decision been taken and nothing is finalised yet on the actress."

There were also rumours that Alia turned down the movie because the heroine's role is underdeveloped, undernourished and that there isn't much of a role.

A source close to Alia, however, dismissed the claims.

Looks like the hunt is on for the leading lady! Yesterday, Shraddha was again snapped while visiting Aamir's residence that has again spiked up the casting rumours. We'll just have to wait and watch as to who will join Aamir and Big B in Thugs of Hindostan.
