EXCLUSIVE: After Salman Khan, Aamir Khan to launch Asha Parekh's book in Delhi on April 30
After Salman Khan, Asha Parekh's book The Hit Girl will be launched by Aamir Khan in Delhi, on April 30.
Asha Parekh's autobiography The Hit Girl has grabbed everyone's attention ever since its cover was launched a few weeks back. Later, a few excerpts from the book, like Salman Khan's foreword, her stint with depression among others, made its way to the web.
On Monday, Salman Khan launched Asha Parekh's book in Mumbai. The event was graced by many veteran celebrities including Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Helen, Waheeda Rehman and Shammi.
Now, after the grand event in Mumbai, Asha Parekh is gearing up for the launch of the book in the capital. The actress would be unveiling her autobiography in Delhi on April 30 and none other than, superstar Aamir Khan would be present for the special occasion. While Salman launched the book in Mumbai, it is Aamir who would be doing the honour of releasing the book in Delhi.
A source close to the development confirmed to us that Aamir shall release the book this month with Asha Parekh at a plush hotel in Delhi.
When we got in touch with Aamir Khan's team, they confirmed to us the same and said that the event happens on April 30, 2017.
Well, now this is indeed amazing!
Interestingly, when we had recently met Asha Parekh for an interview, we made it a point to ask her as to how she had a change of heart and decided to release an autobiography, given that a few years back, she wasn't willing to do so. "It was Khalid Mohammad who changed my mind. The way he put everything and the questions he asked. It was easy to write the book and to come out with the truth. The skeletons are covered in the book," explained Parekh.
