EXCLUSIVE: Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari on casting Varun Dhawan in his next: I want it to be true
Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari has a sweet reply when asked on the news of working with Varun Dhawan in his next film.
Varun Dhawan is a happy man. His last film Badrinath Ki Dulhania became a super hit with the audience going gaga over Varun's acting chops and his crackling chemistry with Alia Bhatt.
Now, the actor is in London shooting for the much awaited Judwaa 2, which is a second installment of the 1997 blockbuster Judwaa that starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha in the lead. The movie is being directed by his father David Dhawan and will see Varun play a double role.
Apart from this, Varun also has Shoojit Sircar's next, which is a love story.
Now, rumour has it that Varun Dhawan has been signed in by Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari for his next movie, which is said to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
According to a leading daily, before heading to London, Varun Dhawan had a quick meeting with the makers of the above film for a detailed conversation. The report further says that the movie is slated to go on-floors in 2018.
When we got in touch with Nitesh Tiwari, the director to know if the story is true, he sweetly replied, "I want it to be true."
Well, going by Nitesh's reply, we won't be surprised if this film's official announcement happens anytime soon!

Meanwhile, Varun is training hard for Judwaa 2. A video of him training with his trainer was shared by the actor on his social media. His caption read, "tornado #judwaa2 #training."
