EXCLUSIVE: Irrfan Khan - Not just Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, but lot of actors will go to Hollywood and work
Irrfan Khan reacts on Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone going to Hollywood and doing films.
Irrfan Khan is one of the actors who has been loved and appreciated both in Bollywood and Hollywood. The versatile star is currently gearing up for the release of Hindi Medium which is slated to release next week.
Given that Irrfan has made a mark for himself in Hollywood, we asked the actor if he feels proud to see both Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone making it big there. To this Khan says, "I feel very happy and I think it is a great time for the Indian industry. Lot of talent would be incorporated. Not just Deepika and Priyanka, but lot of actors would be going there and working. I won't be surprised if one of our stars bags a big franchise film and becomes a part of it."
Interestingly, last year, during Fan interviews, Shah Rukh Khan had applauded Irrfan and other actors like Priyanka, Deepika and Amitabh Bachchan, for doing into Hollywood films. He had said that it is very gutsy of the stars to go to Hollywood.
Quiz Irrfan if he agrees to SRK's statement and the actor says, "It is challenging and I do agree to him. I appreciate the way he understands. He has an insight. As far as time, money and discipline is concerned, it is all different. Money what you can earn here, doesn't even come to half of what u get in Hollywood, because of the taxation. What I earn here in 10 days, in Hollywood I have to commit three months. Also your reputation is on stake. In that way yes, it is gutsy!"
