Exclusive: Govinda on birthday boy Ranveer Singh: He's the best amongst all the youngsters
Govinda is all praises for his Kill Dil co-star, Ranveer Singh.
Ranveer Singh turns a year older today and if there is one thing that will never change about the actor, it is his immense adoration for Govinda. Ranveer got the epic opportunity to star alongside his idol in Kill Dil which released in 2014.
Their camaraderie was very evident during the promotions and Ranveer's love for Govinda remains even now.
When we asked Govinda recently about his Kill Dil co-star, the funny man was all praises for the star.
Govinda stated, "He's the best amongst all the youngsters. As a co-star, it was great to work with him"
Recently, when Ranveer Singh was promoting Befikre with Vaani Kapoor, in a fun interview with Pinkvilla, we asked the ever energetic actor to perform on a Govinda song.
Before he could dance to a Govinda song, he made us call his phone only to let the world know that his caller tune is a Govinda song - Pak Chika Pak Raja Babu for many years. His WhatsApp DP is also that of Govinda. Later, Ranveer grooved to Bole Bole Dil Mera Dole from Shola Aur Shabnam.
When we showed Govinda the video, he was all smiles.
"He knows all the dance steps and the songs of mine," Govinda fondly said.
Govinda concluded by wishing the actor. He said, "Many happy returns of the day and God bless Ranveer."
Meanwhile, Ranveer ringed in his birthday with Deepika as they were seen driving around in his car. The duo will next be seen in Padamavati which also stars Shahid Kapoor and is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Padmavati is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
