EXCLUSIVE: 63 year old Linda Hamilton REVEALS jaw dropping regime she underwent for Terminator: Dark Fate
Linda Hamilton shared details about her extreme workout regime that she had to endure to get back in top physical shape for Terminator: Dark Fate as Sarah Connor, at the age of 63. Read below to know what Linda had to reveal on the same.
Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger are back with a bang for the first time in 28 years, for Terminator: Dark Fate, which happens to be the sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991). This time, Deadpool (2016) fame Tim Miller is in the director's chair while James Cameron co-produces the action flick. James revealed recently that according to the team, they would not have brought the character of Sarah Connor back without Linda, who immortalised the fan-favourite character.
For Terminator: Dark Fate, Hamilton again breaks the mold as the older, perhaps wiser and definitely angrier Connor. While Linda's hardcore training for Judgement Day is legendary, the 63-year-old actress had to buck up once again while reprising the role of Sarah. The actress trained with New Orleans-based fitness expert Mackie Shilstone, who has also worked with top professional athletes including Serena Williams and Peyton Manning. "The action is 10 times bigger than in T-2. After I read the script, I turned to my best friend and said, 'I have to get my affairs in order. I may not be coming back,'" Linda shared.
"It was an interesting journey because you can only call up so much from the past and then I had to just focus on what’s reasonable for my body at my age," Hamilton revealed.
Terminators once hunted her. Now, it’s her turn. #TerminatorDarkFate
