EXCLUSIVE: Aamir Khan takes a break from Laal Singh Chaddha to shoot a special song for friend, Amin Hajee

Aamir Khan recently air dashed to Jaipur and even shared a picture of him hoisting the Indian flag on Republic Day in the pink city. While many started speculating that the actor is in the city to shoot for the next schedule of his Christmas 2021 release, Laal Singh Chaddha, Pinkvilla has learnt that the actor is there for another commitment. We hear, the actor is all set for a special appearance in his long time friend, Amin Hajee’s directorial debut, Koi Jaane Na, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar. The psychological thriller stars Kunal Kapoor in lead.
“Aamir and Amin have known each other for over 20 years now and when his friend spoke to him about his directorial debut, and asked him about the probable collaboration over a special song, the actor just couldn’t say a no. He instantly rescheduled the shoot of his present commitment Laal Singh Chaddha by a week, and decided to shoot for this special dance number,” revealed a source close to the development.
In the song, Aamir will be paired alongside Elli AvrRam. “The song is composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and is being shot over a period of five days at a huge set constructed in Jaipur. His moves are choreographed by Bosco and Caesar,” the source added. Interestingly, this would be among the first special appearances of Aamir Khan in the last decade or so, and it has happened for his friend, Amin, who played the role of Laakha in Lagaan.
On the work front, Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha is nearing its completion and the actor will soon take the film in the post production stage to get it ready for a Christmas release. The Advait Chandan directorial marks pairs him alongside Kareena Kapoor, after 3 Idiots and Taalash.
