The success of War has changed the tide for Siddharth Anand in the film industry as the director is on a roll. At present, he is shooting for Pathan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead. The action-packed spy thriller went on the floors in November in Mumbai and the overseas schedule is slated to take place in Dubai. On wrapping up the film’s shoot by June, and completing the post production around September 2021, Siddharth Anand will begin his prep work for the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter, which is an areal action thriller, mounted on a budget of Rs 250 crore.

The film is set to go on the floors in December and gearing up for a Gandhi Jayanti 2022 release. Pinkvilla has now exclusively learnt that the director is already planning his third film and this time around, he is going Pan-India in his vision. “Siddharth Anand is in the talks with Prabhas for what could be the biggest film of his career. It’s a stylish action thriller and the director has already had multiple meetings with Prabhas at Hyderabad last year before he commenced work on Pathan. While Prabhas has liked Sid’s idea and vision, he has asked him to come with a bound script and then take a final call. The meetings so far have gone off well,” revealed a source close to the development.

The film is being conceptualized to take off around December 2022, after the release of Fighter for a 2023 release, and by then, Prabhas would have wrapped up shooting for the Prashanth Neel directed Salaar, the Om Raut directorial, AdiPurush and Nag Ashwin’s upcoming sci-fi. “Prabhas is shooting for Salaar, and right after finishing it, he moves on to AdiPurush. It’s a rather long shoot for the epic, and major chunk of 2021 will go into filming Adipurush for Prabhas,” the source informed and further added that after Adipurush, he will start working on Nag Ashwin’s futuristic sci-fi with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

“Prabhas is booked at-least till Summer 2022, and so is Siddharth Anand. The actor is flooded with offers from South industry as well, asking for his dates from the second half of 2022, however, at present, he has shown interest in doing the Sid Anand actioner,” the source added. Prabhas is currently shooting for Salaar in Hyderabad, however, is expected to fly down to Mumbai for a day or two on February 2, for the Mahurat of Adipurush. Interestingly, Sid has launched his own production house, Marflix with the Hrithik Roshan fronted Fighter, and he is in talks to partner with multiple studios. The filmmaker is trying to crack a 3-film deal between his production house and the studio with the three films being – Fighter, Rambo remake with Tiger Shroff (directed by Rohit Dhawan) and the potential film with Prabhas.

Stay tuned for more updates on Prabhas and his shoot schedule.
