EXCLUSIVE: After Super 30, Hrithik Roshan to collaborate with Sajid Nadiadwala again?
After years of discussion, Sajid and Hrithik have collaborated for the first time for Super 30 that releases this year in July. But they are already planning to take their association forward and do another film.
Hrithik Roshan's last release was over two years back. Kaabil had hit screens in January 2017, and since then, the actor hasn't had any releases so far. His next movie is Super 30, in which, he plays the role of the Mathematician, Anand Kumar. The film was was supposed to hit screens in this January, but it got pushed to July 26, 2019.
Recently, the film was in news after Kangana Ranaut announced that her upcoming release Mental Hai Kya will also clash with the Hrithik starrer at the ticket windows. But even before that happens, we hear that Duggu has already okayed another project, under the same banner.
Our source reveals, "Sajid Nadiadwala who's producing Super 30 has always shared a very warm relationship with Hrithik. In fact, they had been planning to do a film together for the longest time. They have enjoyed collaborating on their first project together and the producer has already discussed yet another film with the light eyed superstar."
The new film will have a completely different set-up. Adds our source, "This one's more of a drama, about the maths wizard. But the next one is expected to be mounted on a huge scale. It's a big actioner that both of them have decided to work on. Right now, Hrithik will wrap up work on the YRF film with Tiger Shroff. After that, he has another film lined up and then he plans to kickstart work on this. Meanwhile, Sajid is locking the director for the film." Previously, Sajid had wanted Hrithik for a film that was then being directed by Kabir Khan, but it never worked out.
