EXCLUSIVE: Alia Bhatt on reaction to Raazi's trailer: Picture abhi baaki hain
Alia Bhatt has already impressed us as Sehmat in the trailer of Raazi which is directed by Meghna Gulzar. When we spoke to Alia, the actor revealed that she was happy and grateful for the overwhelming reaction.
Alia Bhatt is known to surprise us time and yet again with her bold and beautiful performances whether it be Highway or even Udta Punjab. This time, Alia is all set to charm us yet again as Sehmat in Raazi, directed by Meghna Gulzar.
The movie which also stars Vicky Kaushal is based on Harinder Sikka's best-selling novel, Calling Sehmat. Raazi is about Sehma,t who is a daughter, a wife to a Pakistani army official and an Indian spy.
The trailer for the movie came out yesterday and everyone cannot stop raving about Alia's performance even though the movie is yet to release. When we got in touch with Alia, the actor was overwhelmed by the reaction.
Alia said, "I’m very happy and very very grateful! But we have a long way to go, picture abhi baaki hain. So just have my fingers and toes crossed."

Earlier, when Pinkvilla asked Vicky Kaushal how his experience of working with Alia was, the actor revealed, "It was amazing. I think she is one of the most talented actors we have in our country today. It was amazing to work with her because she is very good at her job. She is a very humble being as well."
Meghna also spoke about Alia as well and said to us, "Alia was the only choice and I wouldn't have made the film without her. She knows that also and I told her before I had the script in the hand. She has told in many interviews that this is the first time that she had yes to a film without a script. I just met her and gave a narration for roughly around 10 mins. I was sure if she isn't going to be a part of it, then it would have been difficult for me to even make the film."
Raazi is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
