EXCLUSIVE: Anushka Sharma NOT being considered for Salman Khan's Radhe; read details inside
After Sultan, it was being reported that Anushka and Salman might team up for Sohail Khan's next production venture, but the truth is far from that.
Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma had teamed up for a big film around two years ago. Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan was also Salman's first 300 crore blockbuster and presented the pair in a very different way. Recently, SK was in news for opting out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's In-sha-allah and he also announced that he won't miss his Eid date with the audience.
After that, Pinkvilla exclusively told you all that Salman and Prabhudheva are teaming up for a big budget actioner, right after Dabangg 3. It's also tentatively a remake of the Korean film The Outlaws. Speculations were rife that Anushka Sharma has been locked in as the lead heroine of the film. But the truth is far from that.
A source tells us, "Sohail Khan's production venture India's Most Wanted Cop: Radhe will go on floors from November 4 in Mumbai. Everything is locked and it will be a run on schedule with a few breaks in between, for Salman's birthday. They plan to wrap the film by February end-mid March. They have definitely thought of casting an A-list heroine opposite Salman but it's not Anushka for sure. Salman and Anushka didn't share great vibes when they were shooting for Sultan and it's very unlikely that they will team up for this one."
Another source, close to the superstar, adds, "Anushka has not even been offered the film. She is not even being considered. The news floating around is completely false." It seems the lead heroine for Radhe will be locked in a week's time from now and the big announcement will be made by Salman himself. Watch this space for more updates on the film.
