Sidharth Malhotra is currently tied up with the promotions of his next release Jabariya Jodi that hits screens this week. But he has two other films lined up.  While Marjaavaan is completely shot and almost ready, the biopic on Vikram Batra titled Shershaah is being filmed currently. The recent news where the government abolished the Article 370 in Kashmir created quite a frenzy yesterday. Article 370 allows the state to have its own constitution, a separate flag and independence over all matters except foreign affairs, defence and communications. And now, Jammu and Kashmir will be carved into two union territories.

While the Government's decision has had polarising views with many supporting it and many fighting against the judgment, there was also a huge talk in the industry with regards to film shoots scheduled in Kashmir. And Sidharth's next Shershaah schedule was always meant to be shot in Kargil. Sidharth revealed during a recent interview before the news about Article 370 broke out, "I will leave for the next schedule of Shershaah in the first week of August. It is a 40-day gruelling schedule where we film the entire climax sequences. It's an action packed shoot and I'm excited to be filming at Kargil. It's going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I've been training for the last few weeks to get the action right."

But will the shoot in Kashmir now get postponed? No, says producer Shabbir Boxwala. "We are shooting in Kargil and over here it’s very peaceful and people are all excited that first time a Bollywood film is being shot here. They are very cooperative and there is no panic; it's all speculation. The Army is giving us full support." Now that shuts down all rumours. Sidharth will be flying for the shoot on August 8, a day before Jabariya Jodi releases in theatres.
