EXCLUSIVE: Ayushmann Khurrana on Safer Internet Day: Education can empower children & will end online violence
Ayushmann Khurrana has collaborated with UNICEF to raise awareness on safer internet for children and end cyber violence.
Ayushmann Khurrana has been known for his unconventional roles and highlighting some of the key issues of the society on the silver screen. Interestingly, the Bareilly Ki Barfi actor has also been involved in bringing some positive changes in the society and has been appointed as UNICEF’s Celebrity Advocate for their global campaign Ending Violence Against Children. While it is a proud moment for Ayushmann, he has now collaborated with UNICEF once again collaborated with creating awareness on safer internet and promote education for children to stay safe online.
Talking about the same, Ayushmann stated, “The online world presents such a great chance for children to learn and share their ideas. This Safer Internet Day, let’s encourage children, especially girls to explore the internet and fuel their ambitions and dreams for a promising future. The opportunities presented by the internet are endless. Children can learn more and share their ideas with the world. The internet is full of ideas and imagination, much like the mind of a child. There are also dangers, but through education, we can empower children to stay safe online. This Safer Internet Day, let’s work to end violence online and make the online world a safer space for every child.”
Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana has two interesting movies in the pipeline. While he has recently completed the shooting of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui with Vaani Kapoor, he has also announced his next project with Anubhav Sinha titled has Anek. Interestingly, this will mark Ayushmann’s second collaboration with the filmmaker and he is quite excited about it.
