Bigg Boss 13 has been receiving a lot of attention with the season finally picking up. The one person who has been making the maximum noise is Sidharth Shukla. Be it his camaraderie with Shehnaaz Gill or his fights with Asim Riaz and Rashami Desai, Sidharth has managed to grab eyeballs. However, his aggression is what everyone keeps talking about. Recently, his Balika Vadhu former co-star Sheetal Khandal opened up on how Sidharth misbehaved with her while they worked together, and now, in an exclusive interview, Sheetal reiterated that she has been getting so much of backlash for pointing out his misbehaviour towards her. What do you think of this season of Bigg Boss and whom do you support?
I am finding this season a bit entertaining. I am not supporting anyone because everyone is a celebrity and carry an ego with them. The friendship bond inside the house is confusing. In the middle, when Arhaan Khan entered, I found him a gentleman. He took a little time to come out but as he was opening up, he was evicted.
This season has seen a lot of fights and abuses being hurled on... Do you agree?
I have been watching Bigg Boss since its inception. At that time, if someone even spoke in Hindi, Bigg Boss used to slam them, and abusing was a far fetched thought. I think in the head, everyone thinks that only fights can make them noticed and they are just fighting unnecessarily also. I don't think they have fought so much even at their homes. The last fight between Sidharth Shukla and Asim was so unnecessary.
Sidharth has been criticised for being aggressive. You, in fact, opened up on his misbehaviour recently...
Sidharth has been aggressive since the beginning. From the time I have worked with him, I have noticed his aggression. Of course, everyone gets angry at some point, but unnecessary aggression is not needed. The problem with Sidharth is he doesn't like being told he is wrong. He feels he knows it all. The day he starts respecting another's opinion, it will be better. For example, in his fight with Asim, I am not saying Asim was right, but Sidharth's problem is he doesn't listen. If only he would have listened, the fight could be avoided. It is in his nature to not listen to anyone.
Fans, however, came out in support of Sidharth...
When he worked with me, I can speak for myself and how he misbehaved with me. I cannot, however, speak for others. A lot of Balika Vadhu co-stars supported Sidharth after my statement recently, but I was speaking for myself. I don't know how he was with them. He misbehaved with me, and inappropriately touched me, and that was the fact and I wasn't levelling allegations against him. I was just pointing out that Sidharth speaking of respecting women came as a surprise to me because he never spoke for me or nicely to me while we worked together. But, my intentions were questioned. When Sidharth had misbehaved with me, I had addressed it to the concerned authority.
