Dalljiet Kaur, who left her show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, to be in the Bigg Boss 13 house is the first contestant to get evicted. The actress played to her strength on the show but failed to get involved in any sort of unnecessary drama. After her eviction, in an exclusive chat with PINKVILLA, Dalljiet said that she is happy of her journey inside the house. Over to her:

Are you upset about your eviction in the first week despite playing it decent?

Upset, I don't know but I am certainly disappointed that I got out so early. I was very sure that I would stay there for long because I was playing from my heart and was true, and I thought my real connections will show.

Many felt that you played safe inside the house. What do you think about it?

Playing safe, I don't know. I took a week to understand the format, the tasks, the duties and the nominations. Obviously, we were all trying to figure it all, but I think I performed very well in my tasks in the first week, and in the second week, I think I stood up for what I thought was right. I was not a part of the things which I thought was fake. I did not want to be a part of the things I did not connect with. I was quite a part of everything that went into the house.

We saw Siddharth Dey provoke you a lot about you being a single mother. Did it irritate you?

Of course, it did. I think everyone saw me retaliating too and I do not allow anybody to speak about my family. I don't want to go on the road where everyone sympathises with me for being a single mother. I am in a very happy space and I want people to accept that a single mother can be happy. Why do you want a person to cry?

Who do you think is playing a good game inside the house?

Siddharth Shukla, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Mahira Sharma and Rashami Desai are playing well inside the house.

According to you, who is not playing well in the house?

I think Paras Chhabra, Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth Dey and Shefali Bagga are not playing well.

Do you think if you had used your past to your advantage and evoked sympathy, it would have prolonged your stay inside the house?

I would never do that to win anything. I think playing on our past, and evoking sympathy was never my modus operandi. I did not go there to garner sympathy and take a lot of attention from people because I can cry very easily, I am a daily soap actor. The point was to show my real self and my real self and I did just that.

What will you be telling your kid about your journey inside?

He needs to grow up and see me and should be proud of whatever journey I had in the house.

Lastly, who do you think is going to get evicted next and why?

Next week, I feel Koena Mitra or Shefali might get out because I don't think they are playing a fair game.
