The film was clashing with Nawazzudin Siddiqui’s Thackeray biopic. We are giving you some exclusive details here about the clash. The producers of Clean India have moved the release date of their film after Shiv Sena requested them for a clean release of the biopic.
They are releasing a week earlier now. Tomorrow, there are keeping a press conference to announce the same. Director Abhijit Panse, whose film Thackeray was to clash at the box office with Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India, had recently said in a statement that they won’t push the date as they announced it earlier. “We were thinking of releasing it on January 23, which is Balasaheb Thackeray Sir's birth anniversary date but later we thought of releasing it on 25th," said Panse.
