Shahid Kapoor is a busy bee both professionally and personally. The actor and his wife Mira Rajput welcomed a baby boy Zain Kapoor on September 5, 2018. This is their second child after Misha Kapoor. On the other hand, Shahid was also in the midst of promoting his upcoming release, Batti Gul Meter Chalu. He was all set to appear on India’s Best Dramebaaaz for Batti Gul Meter Chalu but had to cancel the shoot to be by his family including Mira, Misha and Zain's side.
A source shared with us, "Shahid hasn’t slept a wink for the past 30-35 hours as he is taking care of his daughter Misha who is keeping unwell. He even cancelled his shoot for India’s Best Dramebaaaz as he wanted to be there for Mira, who is currently recovering post-pregnancy, Misha and their baby boy Zain. The team of Batti Gul Meter Chalu also didn’t go." Daddy duties come first for Shahid above anything else. Now, that is dad goals right there!
Meanwhile, Shahid will be on a paternity leave for some time to assist Mira in taking care of Zain and Misha. The handsome actor will then kickstart shooting for the Hindi remake of the Telegu film Arjun Reddy (2017).
Speaking of Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shahid stars alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma. The movie is based on the rising electricity bills and is helmed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh. Shahid will be seen as a lawyer for the first time on-screen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
