Padmavati promises to be one of the grandest movies in Indian cinema. The movie starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie is slated to release on December 1, 2017.

However, problems for the movie refuses to die down with Karni Sena members openly making threatening remarks to those backing the movie.

We got in touch with Deepika's father and well-known sportsperson Prakash Padukone to know what he thinks about these never-ending controversies. To this, he said, "Controversies are a part and parcel of the movie industry and we do not pay much attention to these controversies as these things are not under our control. Whatever has to happen will happen. We will take things as they come.

What does he think about the trailer which has got everyone so excited? "The trailer of Padmavati looks interesting and exciting. We are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie," added Mr. Padukone.

Meanwhile, the Karni Sena members have threatened to chop off Deepika's nose if she continues to make remarks in support of the movie.

Earlier, Deepika had said that no one can stop the release of Padmavati and that she is deeply sad and hurt with the outrage the film has garnered even before the release.
