EXCLUSIVE: Director Ashwini Dhir joins hands with Krishika Lulla for movie based on pot holes in India
Director Ashwini Dhir, who is known for movies like Son Of Sardar, Athithi Tum Kab Jaoge and Guest in London, is all set to make a movie on the potholes in the country.
Director Ashwini Dhir, who has entertained the audience with movies like Son Of Sardar, Athithi Tum Kab Jaoge and its sequel Guest in London, is all set to announce his next directorial. However, unlike his previous projects which were of the comedy genre, his next will be dealing with a rather serious issue prevailing in the country. It is reported that Ashwini will be making a movie on the potholes in the country. To note, potholes are a common problem in India which is often ignored by everyone. In fact, this grave issue often leads to the loss of lives as well. Given the critical situation, it seems Ashwini is planning to highlight this problem with his next directorial.
Interestingly, the yet-to-be-titled movie will be bankrolled by renowned producer Krishika Lulla. Apparently, this will be their first collaboration and the duo is excited about it. As of now, the team is looking forward to finalising the lead cast of the movie. In fact, Ashwini is planning to roll the project by next year. While it seems to be an interesting project, we are looking forward to seeing who will be roped in to play the lead cast in this untitled project.
To note, this new project will mark Ashwini’s return after two years. His last directorial Guest in London starring Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Kharbanda and Paresh Rawal was released in 2017 and it received an average response. We wonder if his yet-to-be-titled movie will do wonders for the director.
