Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently prepping up for his upcoming movie Bole Chudiyan, which will also feature Mouni Roy as the female lead. The movie will also mark the debut of Nawaz' brother Shamas Siddiqui as the director. However, a report in one of the dailies claimed that Shamas' behaviour towards female actors is objectionable and not just that, many of the female actors are shying away from Nawaz due to this reason.
Reacting sharply to it, Shamas has now slapped a defamation case of 100 crores against the publication accusing them of maligning his name without any substantial backing. We have got our hands on some of the exclusive snapshots of the legal papers and the 100 crore suit filed. The debutante director also tweeted about the same expressing his anguish over it. Nawaz is yet to open up about it.
Meanwhile, speaking of Bole Chudiyan, Nawaz opened up about sharing screen space with Mouni and said, "Mouni Roy is still an unearthed talent and she believes in experimenting with her acting and I feel she is the perfect choice for the kind of character which is designed for her and we hope to do some wonders on the screen. I am really excited to work on this project, it’s something new."
Talking about the film, the same is produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia.
