Elizabeth Banks plays Bosley in the reboot version of Charlie's Angels, but if she were still an angel, who would she want to stand beside her from Hollywood? In an EXCLUSIVE interaction with Pinkvilla in New York, Elizabeth reveals.
Prepare yourself for a crazy wild ride as Elizabeth Banks took it upon herself to do a reboot version of a beloved franchise, Charlie's Angels. Today, i.e. November 15, 2019, Charlie's Angels finally released in India and all across the world. Replacing Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu are Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska. Elizabeth, herself stars in the action flick as well, playing Bosley to the angels. The movie also stars Patrick Stewart, Sam Claflin and Noah Centineo in pivotal roles.
While Banks plays Bosley, one wonders who the actress would want beside her if she were to be an angel in a Charlie's Angels movie. In an EXCLUSIVE interaction with Pinkvilla in New York, the 45-year-old actress had a terrific answer to give. "JLO, because you have to put her in everything. I would definitely take Jennifer Lopez. I would probably take... I love Lupita Nyong'o, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow. (laughs) There are a lot of women and the list is long. But definitely, JLo. Maybe Beyonce? And Michelle Obama. Obviously, Michelle Obama," Liz gushed.

Meanwhile, when we spoke to Kristen, Naomi and Ella, the Twilight (2008) star got candid about the idea of beauty. "The whole male gaze thing vs seeing each other through our own lenses, not in a way that brings sexuality into it in any way but, women really admire each other in a way that men don't. We appreciate beauty in this really cool way and repossessing that idea of beauty and not having it necessarily tied to who you want to sleep with or who you have a crush on is really cool," Stewart shared.
