While speculations and rumours surrounding Don 3 have been doing the rounds for the longest time, a recent development left everyone baffled. Reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan who headlined the last two movies in the franchise has opted out of the third one and reportedly, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have been roped in to step in his shoes. When Zoya Akhtar, who was present for an event was asked to comment on the same, she dodged the questions saying "she is neither SRK, nor Farhan Akhtar or Ritesh Sidhwani."
Now, another report suggested that the reports are false and sources close to Farhan confirmed that Shah Rukh is the face of Don and none have been approached. We, hence, got in touch with Farhan to get some clarification. The busy actor in an exclusive statement to Pinkvilla said, "I’m completely focused on prep for Toofan right now. I have nothing to say about Don." While the actor-producer hasn't denied anything, one can be assured that Don is not happening anytime soon.
Well, SRK reportedly also walked out of the Rakesh Sharma biopic after his film last movie Zero tanked massively at the box office. The movie also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles and was directed by Aanand L Rai.
Meanwhile, it is being known that SRK is taking time and reading several scripts to pick the right project as his next. The superstar doesn't want to disappoint his fans.
