EXCLUSIVE: Irrfan Khan was in India for a week; Spent time with family before going back to London

From March this year, Irrfan Khan is undergoing treatment in London as he is diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. The actor had visited India during Diwali this year.

In March this year, Irrfan Khan shared on his Twitter that he is diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, neuroendocrine tumour. The actor went to London to seek treatment for the same. Since then, fans want to know everything about his health, his treatment and mainly, when the talented actor will be returning to India. A few weeks ago, there were reports that Irrfan Khan will be coming to India during Diwali. However, nothing about his visit was covered nor the actor shared anything.

Now, there are reports that the Blackmail actor came to India for two days and performed havan at Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple in Nashik. However, there's no truth to this news. Irrfan Khan had come to India during Diwali for a week, but he came down only to spend time with his family. He went back to London for his treatment. A source close to the actor informed Pinkvilla, "He had come here just to spend time with his family. He had just gotten some time off  from his treatment for one week. He came here, he spent time with his family at his farmhouse. There was no havan."

On the work front, the actor was last seen in the film Karwaan which also starred Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar. After his treatment when the actor returns to India, he will start shooting for Hindi Medium 2. 

The actor will also be working with Vishal Bharadwaj in a film titled Sapna Didi alongside Deepika Padukone.
