Jacqueline Fernandez in an exclusive interview with PINKVILLA revealed the one piece of advice Salman Khan gave her and how has her relationship evolved with him over the years.
Jacqueline Fernandez is seen reuniting with Salman Khan for Race 3 which is an action-thriller. The two earlier shared screen space in Kick which was a BLOCKBUSTER. Salman and Jacqueline make for a hot couple onscreen and there is no doubt about it.
Speaking to PINKVILLA exclusively, Jacqueline revealed how she felt nervous working with Salman and how her relationship with him has changed over the years. "I think for me, coming again with Salman after 4 years after Kick has been such an amazing journey because Kick was my first film with him and I remember between a bundle of nerves during it because I couldn't believe I am in such a big film," and added, "But now with Race 3, having collaborated with him again, I thought I will be more confident in my acting. I was still very nervous but he made the setting very comfortable for us. We were all very intimidated by the fact that we are doing Race 3 and that too with him. But over the years, I think our friendship and relationship has only grown stronger. He is someone I go a lot to for advice and I respect him a lot. He is really really honest with me."
When asked on a piece of advice he has given her, Jacqueline revealed, "He has always tried to instill confidence in me. It is something which is very difficult to have when you are not from the industry because there are so many things which pull you down. He has always been a driving factor to put confidence in me. He always helps me to believe in what I am and encourages me to do things I always like doing."
Lastly, Jacqueline who was a part of the second Race franchise as well said that Race 3 is different from its previous two franchise films and stated, "I think when it comes to Race 3, it is completely different from what people saw in Race 1 and 2. We categorically did not venture too far from the USP of the film which is at the end of the day, a thriller. All the characters are very dark and negative until you figure out the reality. For my character, I can't say much because everything is about the mystery."
Race 3 also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah among others. Helmed by Remo D'Souza, the film hit theatres today.
