A couple of days back, John Abraham wrapped up shooting for the Milap Zaveri directed Satyameva Jayate sequel in Mumbai, which is gearing up for an Eid 2021 release. And it’s all action, no break for the actor, as Pinkvilla has learnt that John has already moved on to his next film, the LakshyaRaj Anand directorial, Attack. He has quietly started shooting for the film in Delhi and is expected to get done with it by February. “It’s on the verge of completion and John intends to finish major chunk of the film by mid-next month,” revealed a source close to the development adding further that a British actor plays a pivotal role in Attack, and another brief schedule will take place once the lockdown restrictions are eased from UK.
“They can’t complete the film without the British actor as a lot of the film has already been shot with him. The final schedule will be chalked out depending on the feasibility of his return to India. Right now, UK is impacted by the second strain of Covid and the team of Attack doesn’t want to risk by bringing him to India,” the source added. While John is yet to give an exact date to the team of Pathan, he moves on to the Siddharth Anand directed espionage thriller featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, on completing the on-going Attack schedule.
“John will be off to UAE for the schedule of Pathan. While SRK and Deepika have already started work on the film, John is yet to shoot, and he will join the team only in the UAE schedule, wherein the major chunk of action and thrill unfolds. It’s said to be among the biggest schedules of Pathan,” the source further revealed. John plays the antagonist in the film with SRK and Deepika as special force agents. He will be shooting on and off for the YRF film from February end till June. Pathan is said to be among the biggest action films of Bollywood, with grand action scenes with cars, bikes, guns, chases, hand to hand combats and spectacular visuals.
Apart from the three films, John also has the Ek Villain sequel directed by Mohit Suri, under his kitty. Schedule details of the film are awaited, however, Mohit has locked the shooting spots of his romantic thriller.
