EXCLUSIVE: Kriti Sanon to start shooting for Adipurush from April with Prabhas

Kriti Sanon is on a roll. The actress completed the marathon schedule of Bachchan Pandey in Jaisalmer, air-dashed to Mumbai and commenced work on her upcoming horror comedy, Bhediya with Varun Dhawan. She also gave multiple look tests for the epic, Adipurush, which features her as Sita, paired against Prabhas, who plays a character modelled on lord Ram. Soon after, she flew off to Arunachal Pradesh to kick off the marathon schedule of the Amar Kaushik directed horror comedy with Varun Dhawan. According to sources, the schedule will go on for over a month.
And now, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that the actress starts shooting for her part in Adipurush right after finishing Bhediya. “She will be shooting for Adipurush from mid of April. Her shots will be filmed against the green screen, like everyone else, as Om and his team have developed a visual world of Adipurush using technology. She will start shooting with her solo scenes first and then move on to can the portions with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, who plays Ravaan,” revealed a source close to the development. The movie also features Sunny Singh, playing the key role of Laxman.
The month of April and May will be allotted to Adipurush, and after that she moves on to a “new film” (more on this next week) from the end of June/Early July. It’s an exciting project, more in the commercial larger than life family entertainer space. There’s Ganpath with Tiger Shroff, that starts in the same timeline as the film we are speaking off above. “She will also have the release of MiMi in the May – June window, which will keep her busy,” the source added. In Bachchan Pandey, the actress plays the role of a journalist, who aspires to be a filmmaker with Akshay Kumar, as gangster.
