Javed Jaffrey's eldest son Meezaan is currently in news since he will make his foray into films with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next production venture Malaal. The film releases this Friday and also introduces SLB's niece Sharmin Segal in the movies. Pinkvilla caught up with the two newcomers who were extremely honest and candid about life, love and films.

Sharmin revealed how she was fatshamed in school. Sharmin said, "In school, for 10 years, people used to make fun of me because I was overweight. So at the end of the year, the ones who used to fatshame me were sitting in the audience while I was performing on stage. I was looking for my mother and then I saw them laughing at me and I realised that they weren't laughing at a fat Sharmin but they were laughing at the character."

They also took the nepotism debate on their chin and told us, "Your uncle is producing your movie. That for me is nepotism. This is a chance I have been given and if I don't make the most out of it, I'm misusing the opportunity. If you're not giving your 100 per cent, you're letting them down and of course, it's a pressure."

Apart from this, Meezaan has been spotted a few times dining with Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. There were talks about them dating but the actor refuted all rumours and told us, "My relationship has already made headlines but it wasn't a relationship." When prodded further he admitted,"Maybe, I'm in a relationship but not with Navya. Just because I got papped with my friend doesn't mean she's my girlfriend. Maybe you will believe me when I get papped with my actual girlfriend." He also added, "It's unfair to the other person, even Navya in this case. The media should draw a line somewhere but personally, I don't care what's being said."
