Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are currently busy shooting for the last leg of their upcoming dance film titled Street Dancer in Dubai. The movie helmed by Remo D'souza is the third film in the ABCD franchise and is one of the highly anticipated ones. While it is already known that the makers are recreating the popular song, Muqala Muqabla, for the movie, we have exclusively learnt that not just Muqabla, even Guru Randhawa's Lahore will also be recreated. The recreated version is being composed by music composer duo Sachin-Jigar.
A source informs, "The movie will feature as many as 12 songs, out of which almost 3-4 are recreations of hit Punjabi songs. Given that the movie will feature an interesting face-off between India and Pakistan dancers, Lahore was decided as one of the songs for recreation." The source further adds that the team will be wrapping up the movie by tomorrow or day after and will be back in Mumbai for patchwork. The climax for the movie is currently being shot and the team is extremely happy about the same.
Street Dancer was earlier going to star Katrina Kaif opposite Varun Dhawan, but Kaif had to move out due to date issues, and hence, Shraddha Kapoor was roped in. Meanwhile, Street Dancer also features Aparshakti Khurrana, Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The team shot in London, Mumbai among other places for the dance film. Street Dancer's release date has been pushed to Republic Day 2020 release.
