A film that has been the talk of the town since the teaser dropped is Parineeti Chopra starrer The Girl On The Train. The film is an official adaptation of Emily Blunt's Hollywood flick that was released back in 2016. Headlining the film is Parineeti who has already wowed the audiences with her superlative acting prowess in films like Ishaqzaade, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and many more. Recently, Parineeti's film, The Girl On The Train was voted as the most awaited film of the season on IMDb by users and it left her excited.

Talking about it, Parineeti said, "I’m excited as well as nervous that with the teaser drop of the film TGOTT has been rated the most awaited film! I just hope that even after the trailer and after watching the film people give it as much love as they gave the teaser." The film will feature Parineeti as Meera who will be essaying the role played by Emily Blunt in the original.

Her character, Meera, is the eponymous girl taking the train, an alcoholic divorcee, who becomes involved in a missing person investigation and uncovers deeper secrets. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, Avinash Tiwary, Ishita Dutta, Vatsal Seth and others. It is helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta and is produced by Reliance Entertainment. It is all set to premiere on Netflix on February 26. The teaser already has been the talk of the town and Parineeti's act in the same is being lauded.
