EXCLUSIVE:Post Hrithik Roshan’s tweet Vikas Bahl's name to be removed as Super 30 director amidst allegations?
Amidst the sexual harassment allegations on Super 30 director Vikas Bahl, Hrithik Roshan finally broke his silence on Twitter. Following his tweet, Super 30 makers are planning to remove Vikas' name as the director.
From Nana Patekar to Rajat Kapoor, everyone's dirty laundry is slowly coming out in the open as more and more women are opening up about their sexual harassment incidents. In 2017, Queen director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexual harassment by a Phantom Films' employee. While things cooled down back then and Vikas went on to direct Super 30 with Hrithik Roshan, the incident was brought up again as Phantom Films' core four - Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl dissolved their partnership.
Today, Hrithik Roshan finally broke his silence on the ongoing issue via Twitter and issued a statement. The actor tweeted, "It is impossible for me to work with any person if he/she is guilty of such grave misconduct. I am away and have access to only sporadic information. I have requested the producers of Super 30 to take stock of the apparent facts and take a harsh stand if need be. This is not to be hushed or brushed under the carpet. All proven offenders must be punished and all exploited people must be empowered and given strength to speak up."
Now, a source in the know has EXCLUSIVELY informed Pinkvilla that the producers of Super 30 - Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films are collectively deciding to drop Vikas' name as the director of Super 30, post Hrithik's tweet. The announcement on the same is expected to be made in a few days.
