Rakul Preet Singh delivered with both her films in 2019. While De De Pyaar De with Ajay Devgn and Tabu raked in over Rs 100 crore at the box office, Marjaavaan which had her in a special role opposite Sidharth Malhotra became a success and was lapped up by the masses. Now, we can tell you that the actress will soon team up with both her heroes from 2019 in another film, to be directed by Indra Kumar,
A source tells us, "Indra Kumar is planning a social comedy with Ajay and Sidharth in the lead. They were looking for a pretty actress who's also a great performer to join the cast. Indra has now locked Rakul for the film. They feel she is the perfect choice for the role, which is also very performance driven. From what is known, she plays Sid's romantic interest in the project. It's a huge ensemble which will also have two other young actors, apart from Ajay, Sid and Rakul."

Pinkvilla was the first to inform you that Indra Kumar has been planning this film. We hear that Ajay might also come on board as a co-producer. "Both Sid and Ajay have worked with Rakul and they feel she's extremely professional in her approach. So when Indra was looking for an actress, they suggested Rakul's name." Rakul, on the other hand, will also have two other releases in 2020. She has Nikkhil Advani's next production venture - a cross border love story with Arjun Kapoor. She will also kickstart shoot for John Abraham starrer Attack from January next year. The Indra Kumar comedy is also expected to roll out sometime around 2020 March-end.
