Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have finally announced their wedding date to the world after months of speculations. The couple will tie the knot on November 14 and 15, 2018. In their joint statement, the couple shared that they seek everyone’s blessings as they embark on this journey of love, friendship and togetherness. They also thanked their fans for all their love and support. Deepika shared on Koffee with Karan that they have been together for six years. Love blossomed between the couple on the sets of their first film together, Goliyon Ki Raas Leela- Ram Leela.
There were reports that the couple would announce their wedding date to their fans on one of the auspicious days of Navratri. However, they finally revealed their wedding date on Sunday. A source close to the couple tells us that they were eager to announce it earlier on Ganesh Utsav or Dusshera, but something or the other came up and they had to postpone it. Reports suggest that they will get married at Lake Como in Italy at a luxurious villa. The couple will host their wedding reception on December 1, 2018 in Mumbai.
The source said, "Both Deepika and Ranveer were very keen to make a formal announcement informing their audience about their marriage. The duo have been discussing and overlooking the minutest of details, infact an earlier announcement was expected over the auspicious occasions of Ganpati and Dussehra. However they decided to finally make their wedding dates public last Sunday."
