Shraddha Kapoor has walked out of the Saina Nehwal biopic. Parineeti Chopra has stepped in to play the role of the badminton player Saina Nehwal. Read on to know the real reason why Shraddha opted out.
Biopics are the "IT" formula for the directors and the viewers are also appreciating them as they get to know the real story behind the real heroes of the country. Director Amol Gupte is making a biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal. It was in April 2017 that Shraddha Kapoor was roped in to play Saina in her biopic. After some time, reports started to float that the diva is not able to cope up with the training schedules and is not fitting the character of Saina. Now, Shraddha Kapoor has walked out of the Saina Nehwal biopic. Parineeti Chopra has stepped in to play the role of the badminton player.
If you are wondering the real reason behind this, one of our sources told us, “Even after being trained for more than a year, this chirpy actress has failed to get the nuances of the character right. She had been struggling to ace the sport that she was training in, forcing the makers to reconsider her.” The source also added, “And while one would think that the Shraddha would be upset about being ousted from the film, nothing of that sort has happened. In fact, she was relieved to have been out of the project, knowing that she wasn’t able to get the character right.”
When we had met Shraddha Kapoor while she was promoting Stree, we had asked her about the reports of her not being able to cope up with the training schedules. Back then, she had told us that it was tough for her and she wanted to take time for training. She went on to add that if you are playing the role of a real-life hero, you need to make sure that you're convincing and the audiences relate to it.
