EXCLUSIVE: Saif Ali Khan NOT a part of Love Aaj Kal sequel starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan
Reports were coming in of Saif Ali Khan being a part of Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Love Aaj Kal sequel. Amidst this, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that Saif Ali Khan is not a part of Love Aaj Kal sequel film in any way. Read to know more.
A while back, reports started coming that Saif Ali Khan will be a part of the sequel to Love Aaj Kal which stars his daughter Sara Ali Khan and Pyar Ka Punchnama actor Kartik Aaryan. It was believed that Saif will be essaying a role similar to that of Rishi Kapoor in the sequel and will be playing Kartik Aaryan's father in the film. However, all these reports are absolutely not true. Contrary to reports, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that Saif Ali Khan will not be a part of Love Aaj Kal sequel starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan.
Saif Ali Khan exclusively told Pinkvilla, "I'd honestly want to play every role provided it's interesting enough and if the time permitted it. Though Imtiaz was very kind to offer me a part in the sequel of Love Aaj Kal, I haven't signed the film contrary to the rumours. It's a lovely movie and I'm very excited in particular that Sara is working with Imtiaz Ali. I wish both the young stars, Sara and Kartik, the best."
On the professional front, Saif is engaged in 4 different projects this year and none of them includes Love Aaj Kal sequel starring Sara and Kartik. Saif's 2019 is a busy year in terms of work as the much awaited second season of Sacred Games will be out soon. Many times, Saif has been spotted shooting in Mumbai for the same and the fans can't wait for the second season of Sacred Games to be out. Also, the Nawab of Bollywood has 4 films lined up this year which include Ajay Devgn's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Pawan Kriplani's horror Bhooth Police, Navdeep Singh's revenge drama Hunter and Jawaani Jaaneman helmed by Nitin Kakkar.
Amidst all this, Saif only wished the youngsters, Kartik and Sara all the best for the upcoming Imtiaz Ali's film. A while back the first look of Imtiaz Ali's film was launched on the internet and it showcases Kartik and Sara as two souls lost in love. Since the time, the shooting began, many on set videos of Sara and Kartik surfaced online. Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal's sequel will release on February 14, 2020.
