Sara Ali Khan has clearly grabbed 2018 in her own two hands and stole the spotlight as she made her big Bollywood debut in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath. Her effervescent charm is undeniable and her confidence is addictive. With Kedarnath working wonders for the newcomer at the box office, it's her performance that has left the critics and the audience, spellbound by her charm. Even dad and actor Saif Ali Khan was left stumped by his daughter's natural screen presence and likeability.

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, when we asked the proud dad if he was surprised by Sara's confidence on screen, with just her debut film, Saif replied, "Yes and no. The thought behind her shot is clear. It’s amazing. Way better than what I was." Talking further about how he is proud of her accomplishments, Saif revealed, "I’m so happy for her. This was her choice all the way. She chose this and made it happen. And I thought she was brilliant. A thinking actress who is expressive and inventive in every shot. I see a fantastic future for her."

The doting dad continued, "She is used to being good at what she loves, but I thank the people for welcoming her and giving her the acceptance that an actor needs."

Now, that is indeed some thoughtful words by an extremely proud father!
