It's the season of remakes. And several old classics are revisited in many of the new films that are coming up. Tanishk Bagchi has become synonymous with such reprise versions. T-Series which has a gallery of a million songs already, are bankrolling Nikkhil Advani's next production venture Marjaavaan that stars Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Rakul Preet and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles.

Milap Zaveri is directing the masala actioner and last time in Satyameva Jayate, they had used the modern day version of Dilbar which created a riot on the digital platform. In fact, it catapulted Nora Fatehi as the next big thing. And now, the production house has decided to revamp one more song that has been loved since its release.

Our source says, "The makers have plans to use Masakali for Marjaavaan. The original featured Sonam K Ahuja and Abhishek Bachchan and T-Series holds rights to the song. When the producers were scouting for a similar track and melody, they got the idea of using the Delhi 6 number. It's yet again a soft, romantic number that will feature Sid and one of the girls. It's yet to be shot." We contacted Milap who didn't respond till the time we put out the story.

Recently, the makers also shot for a dance track that has Nushrat Bharucha dancing along with Sidharth. The film is being readied for a Gandhi Jayanti release and will mostly clash with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's next with YRF.
