Taapsee Pannu is clearly turning out to be one of the most respected actresses in Bollywood today. After doing minute roles in several films, she finally found her ground with a brilliant performance in Pink. Then, there was no stopping this heroine. After Badla that turned out to be a superhit at the box office, her plate is full with several big projects.

Talking to us about them, Taapsee had said, "I have to shoot for a South film right now, following which I will start Anubhav (Sinha) sir's next Thappad. It's a very hard hitting subject that we haven't spoken about before in cinema. I play a married woman and the movie will showcase the several woes that she goes through." The film, just like Mulk and Article 15, will be a social drama with Taapsee playing the main lead. The film is expected to go on floors in about a month or so from now and is being readied for a release early next year. This will also be Taapsee's first film to hit theatres in 2020.

"I'm very excited to team up with Anubhav sir again after Mulk. I think Mulk was the first film where it was completely on my shoulders. He entrusted me with that responsibility and today, with films like Mulk, Badla and Game Over doing well, I've found more confidence to take up such roles." Apart from this, Taapsee has Mission Mangal lined up for release this Independence Day, followed by Saand Ki Aankh in October and she will also be seen in another Anurag Kashyap directorial which is a thriller.
